Handing charts to facilities teams who work on the floor
Wall boards and PDF packs beat live screens when supervisors need something they can point to during a walkthrough.
Facilities supervisors rarely need another login. They need a sheet that shows which lobby corner fills first, which meeting suite stays dark, and which lift lobby needs a second attendant at 08:45. Our chart packs are designed for that walkthrough, not for a product demo.
We keep labels in the building’s own zone names. If security calls a space “B2 Loading,” the chart says the same—not a generic “Zone C.” That small match reduces arguments on site.
Colour should stay restrained. High-contrast occupancy bands print cleanly and still read under fluorescent light. Decorative gradients that look fine on a laptop often fail on a noticeboard.
After delivery, we recommend a short toolbox talk: ten minutes to walk the charts, not a training course. When the pack is clear, that talk is enough.
